PRESEASON

PAYMENT

• You must pay the the league dues of $20 to the commissioner before draft day via Venmo. Cash not accepted.

• If we get to the draft and you haven't paid you'll be deducted $5 from your draft budget. 

• Your team points will be zeroed out until payment is received.  Why? Commish doesn't want to worry about you forgetting to pay up on draft day.

GRUDGE BETS

• Before the draft, find a manager to grudge with.

• You must make a non-monetary wager with your opponent where the outcome is determined by one of your matches together during the season.  Why? It makes the league better dammit.

DRAFT FULL ROSTER

• Draft every starting position slot or else have that position slot zeroed out all season. Why? No position hoarding

• If the offender issues a formal apology to every team before season kickoff, that position slot will have its points halved for each initial match against every opponent. Why? Matt Moore

• If no apology is given the offender will have that position slot zeroed out all season.

• If you draft a player on IR, you may not put them in your IR slot

 

VAMPIRE

• IF a willing vampire is randomly selected at the draft we will have a vampire season.

• IF a willing vampire who has already been a vampire is selected, it WILL be a vampire season, and a new vampire will be selected at random.

• IF a non willing vampire is randomly selected we will NOT have a vampire season. Why? Not everyone wants a vampire season every year

• Whoever is randomly selected on first spin will be auctioneer at the draft

• The vampire will have 150% FAAB during regular season

• The league cannot have a repeat vampire until all potential vampires have vamped. Why? Tax the rich

• If a vampire wins a match, they may choose any single player who started on their opponents roster to steal for their team. If the opponent has an unused slot, the vampire may also steal any player that may have filled that empty slot.

 

SEASON LONG

ROSTER

Injured Reserve

• IR positions can ONLY be filled if a player is ON YOUR ROSTER when they go on IR.  Why? No hoarding players, you want em, you gotta use a bench spot.

• Player must be on IR to be placed in IR slot. Why? Out players on IR will make for an even more limited waiver wire.

• If a player is taken off IR who is in your IR slot, you may keep that player there for as long as you want, however you may not make any roster additions until you have the correct bench size INCLUDING the IR returned player. Why? This is a Yahoo! setting that I'm clarifying for you.

Full Roster

• You must play a full roster every week unless there is nobody on your team available to play that position.  Why? This keeps balance in the league and makes it more fun and less ANGRY.

• If you are unable to play a full roster with your current lineup you must declare BEFORE THURSDAY that you are not playing a full roster.  Why? This lets the league know you're engaged and not just handing someone a win because you're not paying attention.

• If a player is declared OUT the day of their match, there is no penalty.  Why? Shit Happens

• Failure to play full rooster will result in $10 FAAB punishment for EACH offense ($20 for 2 empty slots in first offending week). If $0 FAAB remains, remaining money will be taken from next season's draft amount OR you will be asked not to return.

 

NEGATIVE POINTS

• No cumulative negative points for any position if the manager requests points being zeroed out.

• The manager must let the commissioner know BEFORE kickoff the following week to have negative points zeroed out. Why? Play a full lineup, do not be afraid.

ROUNDUP

• Everyone must do the roundup on the week they play the commissioner. 

• The roundup must be sent BEFORE the following week's kickoff.

• The Commissioner is not responsible for reminding you, set an alarm or you'll probably have to have a talk with the commissioner and it will be uncomfortable. Why? The league thrives from roundups, Just Do It.

 

PLAYOFF WAIVER

• If your team is out of trophy contention for either Lord Ballstimores Cup or The Staso-Last-Place-O.  You may not do any more roster adds or drops.  Your roster is locked.

OFF SEASON

TROPHY TRANSFER

• It is the responsibility of a Trophy Bearer to get the trophy to the new holder.

• It is the responsibility of the Lord Ballstimore's Cup previous champion to get a new name plate inscribed before passing the cup to the new champion (Commish has font template available). Why? Pay it forward yo.

• The new holder must be amenable to the commissioner's discretion. Why? Aint no way a last-placeo-holder is gonna want that trophy.
